Weather/sea conditions: Rainy a.m., clearing, upper 60's, evening shower with rainbow
It's a wet Sunday morning at Ladysmith as the docks empty out. Most of the Albins are gone. We have a short cruise to our next destination on Thetis Island. We check out the rest of the Ladysmith area from the water before continuing to Thetis. Most of the waterfront is industrial or commercial, with logging and lumber operations mixing with marinas for commercial vessels and pleasure craft. We're glad we stayed at the community marina!

Pulling into the dock of Telegraph Cove, we're in the space right behind Shiraz Trader! We are finally getting a chance to catch up with each other.
We have a relaxed afternoon enjoying the marina grounds and views of the water. Low tide exposes a shore that is thick with large oysters shells. There is no evidence of spat setting this year, and harvesting here isn't allowed..
The cut that connects Telegraph Cove with Clam Bay is too shallow to navigate at low tide. At high tide, it is a fun dinghy ride.
Evening brings some clouds, a shower with a rainbow arching over the cove, and then sun again. The final glow of the sun lights up the cove, a perfect time for strolling and rowing.
Is that guy flirting with me? Is he going to burst into song with a serenade? Maybe! But I tell him he needs a bigger boat!
