It is an easy cruise to Langley, where we have arranged for a spot in the marina. Most spots need to be reserved ahead here.
Skies are once again hazy. We take advantage of access to fresh water and give NORTH STAR a good rinse. Salt crusts completely gone! The docks are full for the night. We do our social distancing with dinner aboard.

We walk up the hill to the inviting town of Langley for coffee and pastries, as well as the chance to pick up some staples like milk, bread, and fresh fruit and vegetables. We love this little town. The streets are so inviting with nice plantings and artwork, and bunnies everywhere. There is a lot of creativity here, and we enjoy it all from the sidewalks today. (REMINDER: Many photos are vertical, you need to click on them for the full effect.)
The town park is a pleasant stop with a gazebo, prayer wheel, sculptures and gardens.
Reminders are everywhere that we are experiencing a pandemic, from stenciled messages on the sidewalks to signs in windows.
We hope we are complying! We get a chat with our son while we enjoy window shopping, then replenish our groceries at the Star Store. Oh, how I would love to shop there for so many wonderful things!
